Malaysia! Day 1 (continuation)

After Berjaya we headed to the MENARA (means tower in malaysian).  The 515m above sea level Menara KL, is the world's fourth-highest telecommunications tower. The view from the observation desk is a too good for words. The whole city spreads out like a toy land and trust me, its beautiful. We walked along looking through the powerful binoculars. It was awesome. Even a splendid view of the twin towers was visible from up there...

Malaysia!! DAY 1

As our flight had landed late the previous night we slept in till 11:00am. Dad suggested going to the large and famous mall (THE PAVILLION PLAZA) that was opposite to our hotel (THE WESTIN). So we got dressed and made our way to the mall through one of its many entrances (that one was called to GUCCI entrance,I think, as the Gucci show room was just to the right)
Anyway, the mall was huge and it took us half an hour to find the food court which was there called FOOD REPUBLIC. Choosing the restaurant was even more difficult because there were sooooooo many options. Every restaurant even had options for vegetarian food. Lucky for us, because my mom and sister and pure vegetarians, I have tasted all sorts of non- veg food but i don't like any other than egg. On the other hand my dad is a full non- vegetarian. Finally we settled for an Arabic place called AL-TANOOR which offered plenty of both veg and non-veg food.  Halfway through my plate of Falafel we were joined by our close family friends.

After a most delicious lunch we went to BERJAYA TIME SQUARE. The moms went shopping while the rest of us went to the Time square indoor park. That place is awesome! The rides are killer. If you go to KL but you don't visit the theme park your visit is not worthwhile at all. There was this one ride called the DNA mixer and the name is soooo perfect. We didn't see anybody doing the ride before we sat down on the seats so we thought that it was one of those rides that took you high up and then drop you down at a high speed. Turns out it wasn't. Instead the turned you upside down and then 360 degrees over then they stopped to make us thing that it was over and then it started all over again... Crazy right?  I loved it. It was so true to its name. The other rides were awesome too.

Hey! Sorry for the stupid mistakes in the previous post! It was written in a hurry...

Going somewhere? Maybe this will help

When travelling you must carry:

1. A sling bag that's easy to carry around when you go sightseeing (so you do not have to fill your pockets or carry a whole backpack for things that you must make sure you carry everywhere:
A handkerchief
A few candies in case of Nausea( which I have a severe case of...)
Your camera or/and cellphone
Maybe sunglasses if it in the afternoon or if we just wanna look cool (;
And other things you want to carry)
Make sure you don't make it heavy though...

2. And extra pair of clothing in a carry on if your flying to your destination in case YOU make it where you want to go but your LUGGAGE doesn't. (trust me, I've been there)

3. If you are going away for a long time (a month maybe) or if you get homesick in just a few days carry something light that you can keep in your hotel room or where ever you're staying to make it feel more like home. ( A small photo, don't carry the frame! You should always pack light, just the photograph, or anything that makes you feel like you're  home, maybe even if a small stuff toy)

4. Remember to pack LIGHT!!!! Okay, so if you know my family, you'll probably know that we NEVER pack light but still...

Hope that helps!!!!!

Hey!!

Hey guys!! I'm Paridhi Bansal and I'm from India... I love writing and this is my first blog post!
I'm in 6th grade if you were wondering.

This blog is basically gonna be about lifestyle but mostly places that I visit and what I do there.  So it's gonna help you if you go there cause I will be telling you about my experiences in all of these places and what are the best places to visit  etc. Its like a practice for me cuz I want to be a travel journalist when I grow up. When I am stuck at home and just going to school I'll probably do the random lifestyle posts. My day, different kinds of food(yum), clothing options... Everything. Even a few TV shows, movies(both Hollywood and Bollywood) and book reviews.

Hope you enjoy!!
